An Early Goodbye

With a heavy heart I give you news. Today, July 14, 2009 at 1:30 PM my little sister Katie passed away at the age of 35. After a long and arduous battle, MS had done too much damage this time. I love my sister and will miss her very much. We are very thankful for all the thoughts and prayers that everyone has given throughout her fight. She is at peace and is looking down upon us now.

There's always room for another angel I guess.

Your Cousin,
Steve

Hi Cousin Steve! I was a good friend of June's in VA so I've been hearing about you for years. So very sorry about your sister.....I will offer my Mass for her and your whole family this week.

I spoke to June about 10 days ago....I'm praying for her, too.

Steve,
May the Almighty may give you & all your family the fortitude to bear this severest of trials in the coming days, weeks & months. It's tuff to understand why these things happen to someone so young. God bless your family.

Thinking of you & your family (& June!). My uncle passed away after a long battle with MS last year. I hope he is finally enjoying life wherever he is now that his suffering is over. May your sister be at peace.

Steve,

The Urbans have been road-tripping and fairly off the grid, so I apologize for being late with this. But I'm sad to read this news of your sister. Your family sounds wonderful, and I'm glad that secret-agent June was able to come in to spend time with you right now. So very, very sorry for your loss!!!

We, too, were off the grid for most of the summer, so Ihave a lot of catching up to do. I feel as though you and June are my cousins (shhh....I haven't seen my real cousins in over a year). I pray that you and your family have peace. (I mispelled it "peach"--schnapps, anyone?)
